Just recieved a leaflet from CITI, where I have a credit card I use for personal, rather than household purchases. They advised me that as of September 1, 2010 that there will be a $90 annual fee unless I use the card to spend $2400 annually. I am a “Deadbeat”. According to their vernacular a Deadbeat is someone who pays their account in full every month. Watch these guys – they are tricky
My daughter, Rosemary Tropman, is a 4th grade classroom
teacher in the Mentor, Ohio public schools.
She was recently awarded their Excellence in Teaching Award
which will be presented to her when the School Board meets

To this retired lawyer it is clear that William Safire, even in dealing with language origins and usage, is still unable to transcend his right-wing political biases.
This is an excerpt from a letter to the New York Times, and I think that it puts the term “Judicial Activism” into its proper perspective. The right wing pundits are forever complaining about “Judicial Activism” if a Supreme Court decision is rendered that they disagree with.

Working on another project – I have about a hundred color slides of my dad’s paintings. What the titles of them, when they were painted and where they presently are were never catalouged.
